I cannot get over this book. It was amazing. Probably my favorite book of the year. I love her flaws, her ambition, and that she’s consistent. She didn’t change herself for the sake of character evolution she changed because she needed to and in the end she still knew that she truly didn’t want to rule.
I also cannot get over the ending. That was chefs kiss. I can’t wait for book three!!!

I was hesitant to give Lightlark 5 stars. THERE IS NO HESITATION HERE! This book was amazing!! We’ve got romance, betrayal, action, war… everything you need in a solid fantasy. THE SLOW BURN.
