I liked this! I thought it was pretty cute! There just wasn’t anything that made me completely fall in love with it.

A hot bull riding cowboy, a cute girl headed to vet school, and spice from the beginning….. yes please!!! I loved the way James and Sophie’s relationship developed and felt relatable to me.

Loved it

Absolutely loved this book and the characters. There is so much romance, steam, fluff and fun. That you really enjoy it. Definitely going to get the next one.

LOVED IT! This book has so much heart! I'm not a huge fan of 'cowboy' romances, I'm more of a city girl myself, but even I wanted to be on horseback with the Bennett Boys. James was probably my least favorite (again, not a cowboy fan, so a bull rider? I couldn't get into his mindset) but he was certainly a very sweet guy with a heart of gold and lots of respect for his Mama so that made up for his profession. Sophie, she's probably up there in my top three heroines. I just loved her sass! I liked her when we met her in her brother Jake's book, so I was super excited to see she got a well deserved HEA of her own. The dialogue was perfect, lots of witty banter between the two, Sophie was assertive in her desires, I loved that, she took what was hers and she owned that $#%+! Good for her, and good for this author for making such a strong self reliant character. And the steamy heat! I SO love me a dirty talker, and James is really talented at it. Looking forward to more from these guys, Luke may surprise me but I think Mark will be my favorite and it will take a lot to break his stoic shell.

To be honest, this week I didn’t feel like writing a review because I’ve got nothing new to say. That’s why I’ve been prolonging this review but I feel like I have to write it at some point because the sooner the better (and well, I’ll forget what I want to say).

Lately, I have felt this need to read cowboy romances and well, when you start it’s hard to stop.

I’m a newbie to Lauren Landish’s books and I was excited to read this book. I did like her writing but sadly, even though it was interesting, all I can say about it is that the book is very steamy. The connection between them is almost instant and they soon started to sleep together.

I do think the author’s writing has a potential but I just didn’t feel connected to the characters or the story. Yeah, he’s a bull rider and is with family only during the summer and yes, Sophie is in town for summer too because she has school in the fall, but there’s no bigger confliction or drama in the book. And I missed that. That’s why I didn’t feel like writing the review right after I finished Buck Wild because I didn’t know what to say. I had to think about it for a few days.

All I remember from the book is steamy moments, fixing the fence and the neighbouring family. I wish I could say more but that’s what for me was missing. More.

3,5 stars.
