Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls was a very fun mystery story. I love the Babysitters Club series. Ann M Martin certainly knows how to write fun books that reel you in.

This one always confused me as a kid. I always though it was silly to call your friend instead of immediately calling the police, which is what Claudia actually did end up doing. You know, because she's not a complete idiot at her core. Good job, Claud!

the plot was definitely interesting! but the boys calling claudia and kristy after finding out where they’re going to be for a job was creepy af. good for claudia to call the cops on alan, it’s what he deserves! rip to kristy for agreeing to go to the dance with alan anyway. 3.5 stars from me (:

Doesn’t hold up well that one of the messages of this book is that “sometimes boys have funny ways of showing they like you” (making fun of you, embarrassing you etc) but the phantom caller mystery was fun!

I read quite a bit of these as a kid. Nothing mesmerizing or fascinating (even then) but light and fun, easy reads with decent teen drama and some mild humor.
