Ok so finally finished the series, not out of enjoyment but because I'm a completionist, seriously do not understand not finishing a book. At least Entwined was better than the second in the series; marginally. There was an actual plot to this story but like the other two books, it was told to you, rather than experienced with the main protagonist, who honestly had no redeeming qualities about her, still cannot work out what she actually did in the story aside from being kidnapped, she didn't affect the outcome in the slightest, much like how Indie doesn't in the Indiana Jones franchise.
However, the poor, unbelievable plotline, actions and speech flow, didn't annoy me half as much as how every character was one-dimensional. There was no personality to any of them, the characters were broken up into two groups - evil scum or hero, the dialogue for both was exactly the same, the phrasing, the slang used... if I read 'you know what I mean,' one more time, I swear.
Would not recommend, so hoping the author improved over the year since writing this and published something with depth and... to be bluntly honest, actually worth reading, but for this series, if you ever come across it, please, just give it a miss, there are so many good books out there.
