The thing that always surprises me about Stephen King is that he can write epic length novels and also amazing short stories. Though some of these stories have appeared before, they have been rewritten and there are others that are new. Very interesting and entertaining book.
Ah Stephen King short stories. There are a few clunkers but overall this book is wonderful. Some made me laugh, some made me cry, almost all made me wish for more story!
3.5 for King's latest collection. Some solid 5-star stories here, but most hover between 3 and 4 for me. Even in the least of them, his ability to bring relatable and/or fully-formed characters to life is evidenced. Personal favorites would be "Morality" and "Ur". Worth a trip to the library or a bargain bin.
