It’s been a ride.. this is a strange mix of gossip girl and that show pretty little liars! Who killed brook lolol, def like the first one more but I will be reading the rest of the books in this series,
I see reed trying to be better and it was nice seeing him fighting for ella.
Idk about ella tho I have a love hate relationship with her, I loved her in the first book I’m not very happy with her in this book. All the royals are fucked up tho that’s for sure.
Very easy reading oh and Steve is alive? Ellas dad? So confused, exited for the 3rd one.

I admit that i like the first book more than the sequel.
The main character is too annoying for me.
From the previous book, Ella is told that she was a brilliant student and she trying her best to get the scholarship right?
But in this book i didn't see it at all, all of she was thinking was her romance with reed, sex with reed and party.

I've decided to just DNF this book FOR NOW because I'm simply not enjoying it. I definitely have to be in a VERY specific mood to read New Adult - and I'm not longer in that mood like when I started the first one.
I still actually really do want to know what happens with Ella and the Royals, but this is going to sit on my "currently reading" shelf for probably MONTHS waiting for me to be in the mood again.
And RN honestly I'm just too annoyed with this story to want to pick it up again - because, like I mentioned in an update; I get a lot of people think the whole "I will not give up on you" thing with guys in books is hot or cute or whatever, but I think its incredibly creepy and stalkery and rapey so like, no thank you.
Also, Christmas is tomorrow and I'm probably going to want to read aLL THE BOOKS ALL AT ONCE so might as well make room on my currently reading for those books!
So, for now this is a DNF, but I'll probably pick it up again when I need a little new adult book.
Also I JUST noticed that I read this for exactly 1 month (nov 24-dec 24) and if I'm only 30% through, yeah, I definitely am just not gonna finish it any time soon :(
