It was meh, I don't even remember what happened in it, I think I gave it 3 stars cause it was marginally better than the first book in the series, but I genuinely can't think of what actually went on with this book and it's only been a week. Definitely not picking up this author again.

Ok I started reading this book around 5 this evening and I finished around midnight. Tbh there was a lot of things that happened that were just not believable the hand scanner lock for a seventeen year girls bedroom door? Um ok. Overall this was a decent book just not as good as the first one. Now I don't know if it's because I had such high expectations or what but it did not meet the standards I had set for it. A lot the stuff was just OTT and this book read like a soap opera. The dad basically knew about all the shit going on but does nothing to prevent the shit from happening. And don't even get me started with the way Ella was back and forth with her feelings it was quite annoying and went on for atleast half the book. . Idk I was slightly disappointed even tho I couldn't put the book down. But this book still got raving reviews I don't know where the 5 star reviews came from. Anyway I will read the last book in this series. Especially with the TWO cliffhangers we were left with!
