As soon as I got home from work today, I sat down and started this book. I had to take two breaks, one for dinner and another because I was getting to wrapped up in the story and needed a breather. For me, this book was even better than the first. This installment brought in Reed's POV and I feel like we got to know so many more details and secrets about the Royals. It was still just as ridiculous as the previous book, but kept me entertained.
That being said, the cliffhanger in this book was even worse than the first. We were left with two huge bombshells that have me dying for Twisted Palace.

Ich bin gut in die Geschichte hineingekommen und fand es toll, dass wir mehr über Reed erfahren haben und somit auch seine Sichtweise erfahren haben. Mir wurde er hier sehr viel sympathischer.Das ganze Hin und Her der Gefühle hat mich ein wenig genervt und auch Ellas Verhalten mochte ich oft nicht so gern und konnte ich manchmal auch nicht ganz nachvollziehen.Ich fand sie im ersten Teil tough und selbstständig und hier wiederum verhält sie sich kindisch und stur.Was mich noch schockiert hat, waren die Mobbing-Szenen. Das war wirklich schlimm, was an dieser Schule vorgeht und wie wenig Zivilcourage eingebaut wurde. Ich hoffe jüngere Leser nehmen sich an Ella kein Beispiel. Wie sie die Problematik gelöst hat, war meiner Meinung nach sehr fraglich.
Fazit: Eine eher schwächere Fortsetzung mit zum Teil enttäuschender Charakterentwicklung, aber mit einem sehr aufregenden Ende.

Another awesome book with an extremely surprising cliffhanger. I am usually pretty good at guessing what will happen next as most authors don't stray too far from the norm or really write anything original. Most plot twists are easy to predict for me, but the last page was definitely a surprise.

Then the second book is like here are the answers and more questions.
I've lost my train of thought... What i'm trying to say is that this is filler book. We get answers and secrets but not a lot of action.
The steam level is so low, it made me sad.......

The book was slow at first, and the it picked up and then slowed down again... Ella does come home, because let face it she's a teen and well yeah.
Reed will do anything to right his wrong. Which for the cheater haters out there, read the book, it's not what you think. It never is.
Anywho, We learn more about the Royals, and was watch Elle get bullied, We see her backbone.

knüpft an der geschichte vom ersten band an, nur diesmal aus reeds sicht, was auch mal eine schlne abwechslung ist. für zwischendurch aufjedenfall eine gute reihe mit einem guten plot, aber haut mich jetzt auch nicht vom hocker haha. aber wir lieben den protective reed >, allerdings ist easton einfach der bessere bruder sorry (ich liebe einfach die funny side characters) aber ich muss sagen dass reed und ella einfach perfekt füreinander sind und easton und ella für mich einfach platonic soulmates sind

I DO NOT LIKE CLIFFHANGERS. I hate when they are just tossed in and you are forced to read the next book.
This book started out really great but i found it fell flat towards the end. Turns out that all the sneaking around was in vain since everyone knows the truth.
I felt that this book played out more like a drama soap opera rather then a well written book. The strong characters we saw in book 1 started to become week and silly in this book.
I want to read book 3...but I might wait a little bit and find a book I really want to read first.
