the first three books in this series are my babies.if I call another book my baby, then im lying.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG so many feelings like what the heck. Um first off, the tension between Reed and Ella, at the beginning, was honestly the most uncomfortable thing in the ENTIRE WORLD LIKE WHA. Also, the ending killed me. I think this book wasn't as good as the first because the ella/reed fights weren't resolved until halfway through. REED's POV is actually the best thing ever.
*extended review below*
Book 2 starts off with dual POV which I usually hate in this case, but Reed's point of view was actually really poetic and flawed. I loved it because he couldn't stop talking about how beautiful Ella was. After Ella ran away, Reed's life fell apart. All of the Royal boys are mad at Reed, and it was sad how they all coped especially Easton. Easton started gambling and drinking again, and it broke my heart. We figure out early on that Brooke is pregnant. She starts blackmailing Reed that he has to help her get back together with Callum, or Brooke will tell Callum about sleeping with Reed. That broke my heart because then, Reed feels trapped. Ella is eventually found and is very angry at Reed. Easton has to be her escort all the time, and it broke me. Then, Brooke and Callum are getting married, and we find out that Dinah and Gideon are having an affair. As a reader, that blows our minds because Gideon seemed like the one that wasn't flawed but now this happened. The book ends with Ella and Reed making up, and it is the cutest because Reed starts calling her "baby." It makes me so happy. Then, the book ends with a twist with Reed getting stabbed by Daniel, which you know is Daniel's revenge for him getting told on for raping girls and having to go to military school,. Reed goes to the hospital, Brooke dies, and Steve,(ella's father) is alive.

It's more than 3 stars, but I can't give it a 4. So we'll stick to 3.4 stars.
14% Omg so much unnecessary drama. I love drama, but not this kind. This is a full out soap opera. Even Ella's pov's weren't this melodramatic.
21% He’s larger than life, incorrigible, often annoying and always screwed-up.
Easton is undoubtedly my most and up until this point, my only favorite Royal brother.
48% This gets uglier and uglier. And disgusting. There's literally not one good thing about this book, except the writing style.
58% I really don't get this. It's like everybody's beating up everybody, everybody's getting into a fight with everybody, everybody's sleeping with everybody and everybody's getting back at everybody. It's just so messy. The whole story is so messy.
92% Okay Callum.... Well he may be flawed, but he's still very perfect. I've honestly never had anything against him and despite all the turns that the book took, I never believed most of the negative stories about him and I was right to do so. He's good. He's always been good.
100% whaaaaaaaaaat
More thoughts
I still think Brooke deserved a chance. A proper chance.
I find Ella annoying. I found her a bit annoying in the previous book, but now that's skyrocketed. Don't get me wrong, she's still one of the strongest female leads I've read about. She's been through so much and I'll always respect her for her immense strength and courage. But God is she so full of contradictions and is so all over the place and in not a good way. I hate it when she tries fighting over the silliest of things, someone has got to teach her about picking her battles. But I do appreciate her for making Reed work for it.
Yup I still can't forgive and forget Reed for the way he initially treated her. He was the worst Royal. And in this book, he does do a lot of grovelling and I guess that means I have to work on myself to indeed forgive Reed. But then again, I also feel like he's become such a drama queen in this book and that's annoying me. Also I think he's a total D for hooking up with his father's gf just to get back at his father. Like, this guy's next level messed up.
Me reminding myself that I need to let go of Reed's past actions:
And the fact that she’s in so much pain tells me that she needs me. Only a coward would stop fighting now.
Coz this monologue just scored him some major points.
Not the least bit sick of repeating myself. Easton is totally my favorite Royal Brother.
Whatever girl takes on Easton is going to have to hold a whip in one hand and a pistol in the other.
Oh I love this guy.
And of course Callum has my respect. I respect Callum Royal. I'm not sure how many people would be on board with this, but I personally think he might have a shot at that Father of the Year award. He's flawed, yes, but so are the rest of us. We're all humans after all. But his efforts and love for his family outweigh his flaws and that's what matters the most.
Me noticing Wade for who he is:
Me appreciating his presence and his humour:
Me adding Wade to my list of characters I like in this series:
The beginning of my appreciation for Wade:
Wade instantly falls on one knee. “Oh, dear maiden. Please allow me to insert my member into your cavern of pleasure and take you to heights only the immortals have known.”
After Easton, Wade's the only other guy in the past two books who comes close to entertaining.
Low-key stan Val.
I very strongly feel the need to mention this about each book in this series:
Despite all this, the writing style is epic. It's super intriguing and engaging. The pace is well set. Regardless of every other thing I hated about this book, I do have to mention that it sucked me right in and I really couldn't put it down. Sure it had a lot of issues but the writing style was so bloody compelling. And I know for that reason alone, I'll be following this author's works.

this wasn't much better than the first. I wasn't that mad at him after I found out why about the whole brooke thing. I was okay with her forgiving him at the beginning of the book, but the way he continued to push her boundaries is a major red flag for me. He ignored her opinion on the whole thing, he smirked whenever she showed a slight sign of forgiving him as though he thought he knew before she did that he was gonna be forgiven eventually, i just, i cant look past some of the weird shit he did this book. I want to read about easton, hes the one character I still like. him and wade. also val, shes a queen and deserves so much better. I stopped being able to enjoy the trash when he stopped having a basic sense of good or bad.
I HAD TO ADD MORE. THE AMOUNT OF TIMES THEY SAY- CAVEMAN LIKE- SOMETHING. I- TOO MANY- TOO FUCKING MANY

I like that this one was told in alternating viewpoints between Ella and reed. I hate Brooke and her playing off this pregnancy as Reed’s. Halfway through the book I didn’t understand why they didn’t talk to the dad. Brooke should’ve been arrested for sleeping with a minor. But then the family starts healing and talking. Then the wheels fall off and there’s a crazy cliffhanger. Wow!
