Honestly, this book is by no means a perfect book. It is, however, a perfect conclusion to this series.

I loved how everything was tied up and how our cast had to work together for the majority of the book. I especially loved Ephyra's development even though it was the complete opposite of what I hoped for (I would've loved for her to go full villain mode).
Again, as in every book, Anton was my favorite POV and I loved his and Jude's relationship.
can we talk about them being married?!

I still didn't like Hassan but I could appreciate what he did for the group and I respect him for his final decision.

I liked the twist and turns and that nothing came easy for them (except for their trek through the mountains which was supposed to be super dangerous but they just walked through haha).

Great and to the series. I adored this trilogy and felt this was a beautiful end to each characters story. It may not have been the end I wanted for each character, but it was the ending they each deserved. I felt so connected to each character throughout the series and finish this book felt like saying goodbye, but in a beautiful parting way.

Into the Dying Light is the third and final installment in The Age of Darkness series. I have been waiting so long to get my hands on this final book. Mostly because I've enjoyed the heck out of the previous two. If you thought I was prepared for anything that went down in this, you'd be dead wrong.

The entire adventure was a blast. I found characters to fall in love, like Jude, and characters to seek revenge on. With so many people to keep track of, I never felt like I was being bombarded with their storylines. Each page, chapter, and book just blended so well in my eyes. I also adored the audiobooks because the narrators made everything come to life.

Honestly, so much went down in this one. I almost screamed, cried, and smiled from happiness. The only couple I needed to be safe for the entire thing made my heart soar. It doesn't mean that I had mini heart attacks along the way, because I totally did. Then there's friendships that needed to be mended so that I could be at peace. Yes, me - not the characters.

In the end, the overall conclusion made me happy. I was so invested in everything that I could find no disappointment after hearing the last word. I fell in love with the characters, magic, and everything in between. So happy that I found the time to get through these three books and I can't wait for my next adventure.
