One of the best endings to a series I have ever read. It was so good but not just a fantasy novel, definitely something to get me thinking that you shouldn't focus on the bad, but what you can do to make it better and a world worth living in.

Another stunning book! Magnificent as an audio book. The best parts of Redemptor are:

1. Dayo
2. Unexpected twists and revelations
3. Any adventure outside of the palace

I was a little surprised and confused by the pacing along the time line, lengthy stays at the palace and the explored themes.

I adore Dayo. What more can I say? Representation.

The creativity and imaginative power behind this story, the insight into this world, is inspiring and sparks joy.

I loved Redemptor almost as much as Raybearer, which is saying a lot! I really liked the new characters (esp Zuri!!!) though I do agree w other reviewers that some of the old ones got a bit sidelined, especially Kirah. Dayo and Sanjeet are still precious in this book. I found the theme of guilt versus conviction to be quite interesting. Only complaints are the odd pacing and the big solution at the end, which felt slightly less revolutionary than it was meant to be.
