The Hellblazer (#7 - #12 ) : The Smokeless Fire - 2 out of 5 stars

What I Liked :

๐Ÿ˜Š The plot is very mysterious and makes me want to read more to find out how Constantine gets through this .
๐Ÿ˜Š The colouring during the first 3 books of this story arc were fantastic to look and marvel at .

What I didnโ€™t Like :

๐Ÿ˜’ The pencils were absolutely horrible , none of the character looked good , the heights of different characters varied on page by page basis .
๐Ÿ˜’ The dialogues were awkward and many times didnโ€™t make sense .
๐Ÿ˜’ The panel placements were absolutely annoying and were really confusing to get through at times .
๐Ÿ˜‘ The story despite itโ€™s mysterious charms doesnโ€™t make sense at more than a few instances .
๐Ÿ˜ฌ It was all a confusing mess .
๐Ÿ˜ฌ Papa Midnight appeared & this is not spoiler , why ? because his appearance itself was confusing , he appeared out of nowhere , helped Constantine with no clear cut motive and then disappeared all in span of 3 pages , makes me question why he was bought in the first place?
๐Ÿ˜ก Also Papa Midnight , instead of being portrayed as a complex character with hidden motives and no clear cut relationship with John is actually portrayed as a Friend of Constantine . WTF

Verdict:

Not worth the time or money , skip it , unless you are a die hard Constantine fan and even then Iโ€™d recommend borrowing it from library or something
