DID NOT FINISH: 45%

Daire was a dickhead, the entire time then the book at the audacity to gaslight me into thinking he changed his views on rosie in a second by saying he forgot why they were fake married but literally a chapter before he accidentally hit her when fighting his brother and his main thought was how it would affect his custody with his son. Not romantic but cute, the confessions came out of the blue drastically annoyed.
hopeful
Strong character development: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No

Once I made it past the 60% mark it was all just repetitive.  Even the reason behind why they stopped talking for years and supposedly hated each others guts was childish and could have easily been worked out after it happened.  Blatant miscommunication and doesn’t seem like something to break up that important of a friendship.

When I first started reading I couldn't stand Daire. He was a bit of an ahole and pretty selfish even if it was all so he could get to see his child however the growth he went through in this book was amazing and I really loved him and his character development. Rosie was my girl from the beginning and she stayed that way through the whole book. Loved her
Now I need to go back and read the rest of the series

I love how this book is a true Enemies to Lovers. Well, best friends to enemies to lovers. It starts off with Daire proposing to Rosie and she flat out refuses. This started the book off with a bang! You knew you were going to be in for one wild ride!

The mystery about Daire and Rosie's friendship fall out kept teasing me the entire book. Once I found out what it was, I'm so happy that it wasn't something stupid. I mean, it was stupid, but it was a realistic stupid. However, the amount of anger and hatred towards the other based on this is a little over the top in my opinion.

I love a good marriage of convenience and adding in Sammy to this mix...omg I loved it. Watching Rosie not just falling in love with Daire, but falling in love with Sammy was so beautiful.

Thank you, Valentine PR and Micalea Smeltzer for the ARC.
