Boring characters and boring plot. They’re somewhat losers too. Very unconvincing and surface level romance for a trope it’s always been you, second chance and friends to strangers to lovers. Plus, got an asshole hero who drunkenly insults heroine and aired their dirty laundry amidst bunch of his friends, which was filmed and then went viral. On top of it, she’s going to be a maid for him and his kid.

Rating is 5/5 hands down.

This is one of the books that I could not put down. It followed me to the pool, bedtime, the campground, while passenger princessing (not a word but needs to be). My point is that it was sooo freaking good. I could not get enough of Daire and Rosie. Rule Breakers Fall Hardest is legit a can’t put down book!

Daire and Rosie are fake marriage, enemies to lovers but also childhood friends to lovers…there are more tropes like a big one I love that isn’t spelled out and I don’t want to give it a way. Couple chapters in and you will be like wait, what? And oh my gosh no way. That will not be the only time @micaleasmeltzer takes you on a wild ride.

I was feeling all the emotions… literally laughed out loud. Texted a friend who also has an arc and said girl let me know if you get to a part and you burst out laughing because I’m dying. It is a book you want to share with a friend. Also with the laughter was swooning, little bit of anger, sadness but also like love for a really good story. I feel like it’s hard to write about the really hard things in life but Micalea has a way of breaking us and putting us back together with so much hope and that faith that good comes from bad things. This story is so beautifully written. Daire and Rosie grow soooo much in this story and rather quickly in the very best way.

This book is part of a series but you don’t have to read them all. I’ve read two others and those characters show up but are not huge roles in each other’s books. So far I’ve loved them all. Daire and Rosie are my favs thus far…you close it wanting more of their story but also feeling totally satisfied with how it ended.

Absolutely beautiful work by Micalea.

This is Daires book and it was well written. Rosie and daire we family friends growing up but are enemies now. This is a great story.
lighthearted

This was cute and I really enjoy Micalea’s writing.

It is book 6 of a standalone series, and while it’s not mandatory to read the other 5 first I do recommend it! I have no read them and didn’t have the same lore of the characters as I maybe could have.

Anyways I did enjoy the main characters.
It was a quick easy read with a happy ending and very minimal conflict. If you’re looking for something sappy, sweet and epilogue-esque this is the book for you!

Look forward to reading more from this author.

"Next time, I told Rosie. Because there will be a next time. And a time after that. And maybe, if we let ourselves, a forever."

This book was completely different than what I was expecting and I'm so glad that it did not disappoint. I admit that in the beginning, I was not a big fan of Daire but his character growth was really good! I adored Rosie from the very beginning though. She was sassy, sorted, mature and so caring. I loved seeing them rekindle their friendship and as they said, they made a good team! It was evident with the way they took care of Sammy and almost easily fell into a normal routine with him. And the side characters, especially Luke & Bertie certainly caught my attention! Can't wait for their book next! Overall, this was a very engaging and enjoyable read. Since I didn't know that it was part of a series, I haven't read the previous books so it was a little difficult for me to figure out the dynamics between all the characters but I gradually started to like everything because the writing was good and did not confuse me. Also, the last half of the book was great, with so many adorable moments and I was kinda waiting for something to go wrong but I'm glad that there was no unnecessary drama or a third act breakup! I just couldn't get enough of Daire & Rosie together and I want the next book already!
