The romance was really cute, but — and I can't believe I'm saying this — I think it needed more conflict. I am a big lover of low-conflict romances, but things were almost too easy and simple here, at least for a book of this length. The two main characters were so sweet and communicative it probably would have been out of character to have some internal conflict, but some external conflict (maybe a little light mystery or something) wouldn't have gone amiss to keep this from being boring.
