Tessa Bailey really is a fantastic author! This book was so sweet and heartwarming I just couldn’t stand it. It was really amazing to see them communicate like the communication in this was so healthy and beautiful on both ends. It was also really nice reading about how Hannah fought for Fox and continued to fight for fox even when he was pushing her away. They both really brought out the best for each other and connected so well that you could feel the chemistry through the pages. I wish there was a scene like the one with Fox’s mum but with Brendan where Fox airs out all the shit Brendan had said to him and how he made him feel and just a bestie heart to heart moments between them but the mum scene was just as good. It really put a bandaid on the pain I was feeling for Fox. This book was very cute and so nice to read and all together I loved this series and am mad it took me this long to read it. I only gave it 3.5 stars because it did take me a while to read it since I was in a bit of a reading slump and kinda just lost my other thoughts on the book (if that makes sense)

This was WAY better than it happened one summer in my opinion. I liked the characters and the storyline more. Fox is also a sweetie.

Oh this book went some places. It took an awful long time to get anywhere,m. But as soon as "stuff" is happening, it gets down and really dirty real quick!
Good book, but very slow (I am nog that big of a fan of slow books). Would recommend it!

i didn’t like this one as much as the first one. i felt like Fox’s issues were hard to really believe. i loved Hannah though. her obsession with music added an interesting element.
