Starting with the intriguing concept of a reimagining of Sigurd and Brynhild following lesbian protagonist Aydis as she and Brynhild fights against the oppressive patriarchal Viking clans. This book is special because it was written and illustrated by someone that I used to work with, Natasha Alterici. A little darker than what I normally read. Enjoyed it for the female badassery.
