this book is insane and i’m obsessed with it. an incredible entry into the beast fable hall of fame
this mountain lion has a personality to die for and i love him
also thank you henry for writing the story we all needed about the country’s greatest living animal, the urban mountain lion

I didn't know the premise of this book going into it and it was just strange and not believable. The best part of the book was how short and quick of a read it was.

I can’t find the words, this book isn’t necessarily profound but the way it was written and the writing itself and how the message is told by this cat really makes this unique. This reminds me of Grendel but with more refined writing and more important and modern topics. This cat is so existential it’s sad, maybe even depressing, to make a cat so complicated and deep but vulgar, I don’t know this was a simple but great read.
