Moon's writing, as usual, adds heart and sweetness to a smutty ass book. This is erotica with heart. That is her new branding. I loved the characters, loved Lola, and the plot was intriguing enough to keep me reading. The writing was great. I do tend to tire of the sex scenes when there's too many and tend to skim them, and I did end up doing that a few times in this one. The ending made me happy.

I do feel like the only relationship that seemed rushed and/or forced was the one with Cyrus. I think it would have been more believable if the tension was woven through the whole story, but with the way it is, it kind of feels like it came out of nowhere.

I'm pretty new to omegaverse but this is good. 3/5 spice. I liked the baby and the howlers better then the lola books but still good. It is very different from the baby book. The spice scenes got repetitive. I absolutly adore wes and will read anything with him in it!
