Vol. 2 continues the hunter exam arc with phase two and the beginning of phase three. We got introduced and familiar with a lots of new characters, including some who will be very important later on. I have always liked how eclectic and varied each side character design is, even if they will only appear once for a particular scene or fight. We also got to see more backstory and personality of our main cast of 4, particularly Killua's deadly capabilities and Gon's single-mindedness to a fault.
