I was thoroughly enjoying this and even overlooking my hate of the nickname "Red" for a redhead. Then the "surprise" came along. Ugh..... nope. You lost me. I was enjoying the banter and the fun but why deal Cade the same hand twice? And he's just okay with it.
I love a good age gap book but I loath the surprise aspect here.
Also this book started with too much emphasis and repetition on tiny petite woman and the "gentlemen" cowboy who seemed to be obsessed with the female immediately.
I'm not sure I care for Elsie Silver's writing

“RECKLESS”
