I absolutely loved everything about this book! I have never in my life. Read a book that was this short, but had this level of world building and character development. Plus, I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time.

Big blue dude essentially says “Hi, you’re my mate!” by putting his mouth on the FMC's 😼. I don’t have an issue with his greeting. I have an issue with the fact that she’s not really conscious and consenting. She could have been…boo.
 
40%…it’s not been a day. This book is moving fast.
 
Over all; this isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever read, I may even give the second book a go. But I can’t help but feel that the popularity of this book is mainly driven by people new to spicy books. I can’t help but feel like the novelty of spice and alien peen is the primary reason people are enamoured by this book.

your spoiler text

SA happens early in book to establish “bad guy aliens” compared to main male alien characters. Some characters die and reference is made to bad guy aliens discovering one of their abducted women is pregnant and they end the pregnancy. As a monster romance the book is campy and spicy. The abduction set up is ugly much of the rest of the book is campy and silly.

Look, I did enjoy the book, but PLEASE read the trigger warnings. I got the book cause the tiktok hype

but did not see anyone mention that a character is forced to have an abortion and another is raped in the first chapter of the book

It gets MUCH better after the first 1.5 chapters and then is the silly smut blue alien book but I was horrified in the beginning.
