I have nothing to say about craft or storyline or characters here. This book is exactly what it sounds like and if you don’t think reading a very shallow book with giant alien dick is for you,  than don’t ever pick this up.

How did I get here? I don’t read anything like this usually but I have been seeing Ice Planet Barbarians literally EVERYWHERE, and everyone is raving about it. I read the synopsis; I was confused, I couldn’t believe this was the same book, this complete out there insane joke cannot be what caused all this hype! But it is. I understand people that don’t read a lot picking this up and loving it. Or people that are REALLY into romance also enjoying this one, so for me the highest I could really go was 2 stars.

I borrowed the audiobook from the library for this one, because there was absolutely no way I’d get through this book if I had to sit down and read it. I was very scared at first, I didn’t think I could do it, but Ice Planet Barbarians is so simple, and surface value that I found it was easy to put on when doing mindless tasks, or when I was too drunk to actually read but not tired, so every book has its place!

Beyond that there is nothing else to say. For this genre that is definitely not my cup of tea, I honestly didn’t hate it. It was funny, it was weird, and there’s just enough effort put into the storyline for you to follow along but not get too invested.
