I really liked the art style and the 1980s setting, but I think this was just too violent for me. I'm not a huge sci-fi reader; I liked the

time travel aspect but would have preferred less of the monster/alien aspect

, which is just personal preference. I understand that the homophobia is part of the time period, but it was a little hard to read at times.

This was an absolute trip. As a reader I was definitely thrown in the deep end, but the MCs also had no idea what was happening, so I kind of enjoyed the confusion? The plot of the story was unique, but it also has some great Stranger Things vibes. I also really liked the colour palette. All in all, I’m really intrigued to see what happens next.

What a fun, weird comic! I picked this up knowing nothing about this aside from the setting, which (having grown up in the west side Cleveland suburbs) I of course adored. There's a danger, a mystery, and a whole lot more sci fi strangeness going on here, which I don't want to expand upon due to the risk of spoilers. More questions raised than answered, but that's appropriate for the first in a series. Very much looking forward to reading the rest.
