Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for this ALC!

- This audio was so so so good!! The accents were phenomenal, from some different regional British accents to Nik's Greek accent!!
- This is the perfect spicy romance for anyone looking for a beach read! It is such a fun, quick read, and the settings (hotel in Greece and house party in Spain) were fantastic.
- I loved how bisexuality was represented in this book!
- This one felt lighter than some of Hibbert's other books, but the tension is still spectacular!

thought this would be better than it actually was. The friends of the male lead were pretty empty and had no real purpose. the book gets a +1 for having a bi male lead.

We don't have to talk about how weak I am.
I actually really liked this. First Hibbert book I enjoyed. I guess continuing to read books you hate can work out sometimes.
I thought it was funny, I liked the protagonists... there's not much else to like. The book is very short and very simple.
Hate the title. And I could've gone without the epilogue, which I thought was a little stupid and unnecessary.
I guess you could say the pacing of the third act conflict was weird, but I didn't have a problem with it this time.
Yeah. A straight up and down enjoyable romance novel. Joy to the world.

This one is utterly delectable and totally bingeable.

When Greek millionaire Nikolas Christou meets British tattoo artist Aria Granger by chance at his mother’s hotel, he’s a goner. He needs to figure out a way to keep her in his life, so he concocts a plan to get to know her. He’ll pay her to fake date him during an upcoming annual trip with friends to Spain. She’ll protect him from unwanted advances while he gets to spend time with him. It’s a win-win in his mind, but Nik has never been in a relationship. And Aria? Well, she’s sworn them off.

He’s a bit of a Golden Retriever. She has a tough exterior but a big, gushy heart.

And their chemistry is 🔥🔥🔥.

At a glance:
  • Dual POV
  • Retired footballer, who was a total playboy (until her met her)
  • Aspiring tattoo artist
  • Bi MMC
  • Plus-sized FMC
  • Fake dating on vacation
  • He falls first (and hard)
  • Only one bed
  • Banter, banter, banter
  • So much delicious heat between the two
  • Toys 👀

I highly recommend listening to this one on audio, especially to hear the phrases that Nik murmurs to Aria in Greek. Rooke Kingston and Harvey Fuller nail these characters. I loved their accents.

Talia Hibbert never disappoints when it comes to delivering silly, sweet, and spicy antics. This one is all of those things.

It's a little bit insta-lovey for my taste, but still absolutely swoony. Nik is a loveable doofus who is absolutely obsessed and Aria is a badass with her emotional shield all the way up. I do love her for bringing and entire box of sex toys with her on a week long, fake dating getaway.

Bisexual MMC pierced and tatted tattoo artist FMC a pro soccer player is looking for a fake girlfriend to keep away all of the hoe bags what are female main character doesn’t know is he doesn’t need a fake girlfriend. He wants to get closer to her so he hires her to be his girlfriend. It is so cute. He falls first they both have trouble past with relationships and they’re working through their traumas to try and be together. I loved it. It’s a great pallet cleanser. Do I think that this was as good as the first two I don’t think so, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I haven't had a book give me butterflies like this for a WHILE! The Fake Boyfriend Fiasco is a steamy, multicultural romance that has fake dating, pining, he falls first, and a bit of a sports romance! While I was worried when I started this book that it wouldn't give the happy rom-com vibes that I always want and love, I was wrong! This book has a PERFECT balance of MC stress/difficult feelings, paired with the butterfly inducing chemistry between Nik and Aria. I mean this book had me holding my breath, smiling, laughing, giggling, and wanting to cry all in the same book. I don't know if I've ever listened to an audiobook so fast!!! I got SO pulled in SO quickly! It was absolutely great, I may be obsessed!
This book was absolutely BRILLIANT and the audiobook was absolutely amazing! Having listened to book #2 and now book #3 of this series, I am dying to read book #1 in this series and many more Talia Hibbert books!
Thank you so much to Dreamscape Media for a copy of this audiobook to review!💖
