Yall know I'm a fake dating hoe and I'll die on the hill that it's not that unrealistic because people are so conflict avoidant and will do anything but tell the truth sometimes! Also, I don't blame them. Our society has pushed forward this idea that we should all be people-pleasers and that boundaries are somehow toxic, so like, I get it.
Anyway, I love the rebranding of the title, and the new covers for this series of standalone romances <3 This one was fun, but I don't know about the audiobook just because the way the narrators did the Greek accent was .. interesting. I'm not Greek, so I won't speak to that, but I will just say idk if it worked for me. Regardless though, I listened to this in one sitting hahaha.
Overall, this was another fun, sexy, hilarious romcom from one of my absolute favorite authors! Aria deserves everything and more, and Nik was swoon-worthy and super hot.
steam rating: 4 out of 5 - I love the way Talia Hibbert writes steam. It's delectable!

Golden retrievers are not my favourite breed, except, apparently, Nik Christou, who is the most golden retriever himbo I have ever encountered. 10/10

Y’all know I LOVE Talia Hibbert. This is a quick, fun read that was perfect for summer! Nik and Aria are immediately drawn to each other and can’t seem to leave each other alone. LOL. Nik offers Aria a proposition to be his fake girlfriend for a week with some of his teammates for a vacation. Aria is a fat, Black tattoo artist who does not put up with anyone’s bullshit, and Nik is a recently retired professional soccer player who is unsure on his next career steps.
Nik is immediately obsessed with Aria from the first moment they kiss, and I loved it. You could not make him forget Aria if you tried. Aria acts like Nik isn’t a smoke show, and she plays a bit hard to get. They’re both softies (Aria is a secret softie), and I loved them.
My main complaint is that I wish I got more foundation of their relationship, especially since they emailed for weeks before their week together. Their back stories just felt a bit rushed for me. It would’ve given to book just a bit more for me to love it exponentially more, but overall a cute read.
CW: sexual content, kidnapping (pre-book, side character), alcohol, biphobia, fatphobia
