I’ve been wanting to take the leap into the world of Freida, and I could not put this book down. It was fast-paced, suspenseful, entertaining and definitely worth reading. She did an amazing job at going back and forth between past and present. Our FMC, Brooke, had me wanting to scream. Why is she so naive and living in oblivion?! She is not dislikeable by any means, she’s tolerable, but she is most definitely a damsel in distress. You’ll have yourself trying to figure out the truths throughout the entire book and may never even see the plot twist at the end coming. Freida executed that so well. AND THAT EPILOGUE

It was a good premise in the story . But the main character “loved someone” then on a dime decided to think they’re a hard criminal and despise them… oh wait then turn around and love them again?

I don’t know… a lot of unnecessary secrets, big emotional flips, it was hard to get into the main characters train of thought .

I thought it was a good storyline. I definitely didn’t pick up on who to really trust. It seemed like there was someone else in on it but I wasn’t sure who. It was a little strange that they did all of this because of her dad but I guess.
