This was genuinely the worst book I have ever read. In my life. Ever. There are 40 chapters in this book, and I read every single one of them waiting for something to happen, and nothing ever happened. The author’s writing style is pretentious and it feels like the author does not trust the intelligence of the reader. A lot of uncomfortable references to the character’s genitalia including the teenaged son. I wish I could go back in time to warn myself not to read this book because it was a huge waste of time. The worst book I have ever read.
