Creepy & Cute

A quick read. The spirits are very creepy looking but the mc and her friend are quite cute. Not a lot of substance but an enjoyable read. Scratches my horror and cuteness itch at the same time. I'll likely pick up the others sometime.

I don't really care for the oversexualation of young school girls trope, I definitely want to read the next book.

I also love junji Ito and this had those kind of vibes, but with more humor. ✌️

One day, Miko-chan wakes up to find she can see ghosts. They're horrifying monstrosities that she tries her best to ignore. The situations continually ride the line between unnerving and funny, like you understand that she's terrified but her attempts to act normal make you laugh a little anyways.

My main issue with the first volume is the fan service. There isn't a lot, and it isn't super in-your-face, but it's kind of arbitrary and offputting anyways. Other than that, I really enjoy this volume and I'm looking forward to going through the rest again now that I have them all.
