I don't really have anything to say about this book except that I don't think it's my cup of tea, and although I put it down quite a long time ago for reasons completely unrelated to my enjoyment of reading (basically, I had other reading commitments and this got deprioritised), I don't think it's a bad book by any stretch of the imagination. If those other commitments hadn't come up, I'd have probably finished it and rated it a solid 3/5 stars.

The problem is, I'm tired of that Damocles' sword sensation that comes with saying I'll return to this book eventually knowing full well how unlikely that is. I didn't feel strongly enough about the book to want to return to it as soon as possible, and my owned physical TBR is just way too long. As such, I'm cutting my ties and just accepting defeat. I know this will be an unpopular move with all the people who've been begging me to read this for so long, but I'm so sorry! I just can't do it. I tried. I really did.
