This book was oddly fun! The characters are varying degrees of crazy (some totally batshit bananas), and I loved to hate their ridiculousness. Quick, easy read. Just what I needed.

I was surprised this was written so recently. It reads like an 80’s or 90’s novel. The audio was good. A bit anticlimactic.

3.5

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are all wonderfully flawed. Ephron does a great job capturing the voice of each of the four narrators.

3.5.

This was good and I'll probably think about it a lot for a while. But not fast paced or thrilling like the blurb on the back said. More like a journal. Characters were all a bit whacko. Made me want to go back to Italy.

Beautifully written with despicable characters; my favorite. Audio version features John Slattery (Mad Men) sounding delightfully lecherous.

3.5/4 I liked it, the characters Finn, Taylor, Michael and Lizzie though not particularly likeable it was really interesting reading from each of their perspectives. I enjoyed Finn’s perspective as seeing Taylor through his eyes was quite hilarious at times! I thought it was a well written book and it kept me hooked.

4.5 stars, which may in fact be a rating I’ve never given a book. This book is excellent, but not quite 5 stars. I’m not sure why I never read it. It is proof you can have completely unlikeable characters and still write an amazing, unputdownable book. It was like watching a slow train wreck, you knew exactly what was coming, and still could not stop watching.
