Exquisitely written from four distinct points of view and voices. Ephron did an incredible job of slowly building, keeping each voice unique, and keeping me enthralled. A great psychological thriller.
Audiobook. 3.5 I recently listened to the author’s memoir so this book might have seemed better than it actually is. I was filling in some blanks based on information from the memoir. Pretty good listen. I felt as though the denouement was delayed and the ending rushed.
Only exceptional writing and creative storytelling could make me love such terrible characters. Delia Ephron did it all! This book was unique, engaging and I’m so glad I read it!

It's not BAD. Just not something I would recommend, really. There was some interesting character development with the young girl, Snow, in the book but I just... it was just okay.
I enjoyed the writing which changed perspectives between the four main characters as it unfolded. I couldn't wait to read what happened next. The city they visited was a good metaphor for what was going on in the character's lives.
3.5/4

I was entertained by the writing and the characters, even if it wasn't anything groundbreaking.
