This was a good installment from Des' point of view about his past. It tied up or explained several things. I listened to the audiobook and the reader, nathaniel priestley, had the best voice ever for Des.

Absolutely SWOONING over this little interlude from Des’s POV. I need more of this in my life. Authors, PLEASE give us more books like this. I loved the background and the sassy shadows. It was just so so good!
