Quel personnage que ce Cyrano!
l'écriture d'Edmond Rostand est magnifique !

Completely written in verse, scenes are a little chaotic at times but a work of art nonetheless. To read in the original French!

It's certainly a great story and Cyrano's a great character. It was a fantastic addition to the classic French comedy writers, among Molière! It's also rather applicable to modern day, considering the play takes place in 1650.

Ever since I heard the songs of the musical Cyrano that played in my country a long time ago I've wanted to read this book. The songs already told the story more or less so I knew what to expect.
However when reading the book I was still amazed. The characters in the book progress wonderfully.
There is the naive woman, the rebellious man and the beautiful man who has never had to work for anything.
Or better said, the story has it all !
