I expected it to be darker, but enjoyed most stories anyway. My favorites were Danny Coughlan's Bad Dream, The Dreamers, Rattlesnakes and The Answer Man.

This is my first time reading any of Stephen King’s short stories and I’m just sitting here wondering why it took me so long to do so.
King’s talent really shines through in these bite sized stories. His ability to develop intricate plots and characters in such a small chunk of pages is truly magical. I definitely will be reading more of these collections in the near future.

ooooh loved it as usual with SK! some stories better than others, some scarier than others, all of them mentioning covid in some way... overall great read, probably closer to a 4.5! Loved the afterword too
