A heist to break into a vault on a spaceship, with spy stuff? One please.

Liked this one even more than the two previous ones (which I remembered very little about, so perfectly fine to read this as a standalone). Solid, fun read.

A fun read, gripping and entertaining.
It's action packed, fast paced and the plot flows keeping you hooked.
The characters are well thought and interesting, the world building is interesting.
This is the first book I read in this series and want to read the other instalment.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

This book will make such a good movie. The characters are most of all so well done. There is a lot of work gone into the writing of this book. From the whole setup, to the second and third act as well as epilogue that sets things up pretty nicely. It's just the right mix of drama, action, heist, and double crosses. Fan of space spy action will love this one.

Most of all, I loved the interactions between the characters each of whom felt like individuals and not some cardboard cutouts.

I'll be looking forward to their further adventures. Mr. Moren knocked this one out of the park.

Oh and I got an ARC of this book from NetGalley which has not influenced my review in any way. Genuinely enjoyed reading this book.

I wonder if I'd have enjoyed this one better if I had read the first novel. The story stands pretty well on its own, but it consistently had me wondering how the rest of the universe worked. The spy hijinks are fun, though the team members are a bit vague in appearance and personality. The world building is slight, as is setting -- to me, the difference is that use of setting could have given the novel a sci-fi feel apart from the world building. I felt like the first half of the book could have taken place anywhere. Yes, they say they are going to a city sized spaceship... But they just end up there. And they meet a contact in a coffee shop. They go to a casino. They hang out in a hotel. What technology is mentioned could have been in a James Bond film. They may as well have been in Monte Carlo. The latter half does ramp up the sci-fi usage, though, even then, without the world building there's no way to anticipate how the technology will actually work in the caper.

A light, fast read. Nothing memorable - I’ll forget the plot within a week. But a pleasant distraction from the world.

This series just keeps getting better 😍

I’m a complete sucker for a heist and this was definitely a good one. The planning stages were fun and the execution moved at a blistering pace that never let up until the end. I found myself picking up this book even when I didn’t really have time to read because I had to know what was going to happen!

I love the characters in this series, and I’m really enjoying seeing how they develop –especially Brody, who’s really coming into his own without losing any of his snarkiness from the first book. The dynamic between Kovalic and Taylor is really fun, and even Sayers, the new addition to the team who I didn’t expect to like I really found myself enjoying.

My only complaint (if I have to have one to balance out me just gushing about this book) is that the villain could feel a bit one-note at times. Her character traits seemed to be ‘beautiful’ and ‘cruel’, which can be overdone especially for a female villain. That didn’t take anything away from my enjoyment however, as I still gave it 5 stars. Given where we left things with her I’d be very interested in meeting her again in a future book...

I really really hope this series continues - I need to know what happened to Page!
