Good book for the genre, I liked that each character was clearly defined and had their own personalities. The book is mostly spice with some plot mixed in.

While it isn’t an issue, there was barely a plot and a lot of spice; this didn’t impact the rating.

This book features a why choose and polyamorous relationship where the dynamic is three men and one woman. The three men, West, Xander, and Zeke are in a preexisting relationship and have been for years. The men have been looking for a fourth person, a woman, to add into their relationship but none of the woman they’ve tried to bring in have lasted longer than the three month trial period. They each meet Lily individually and like her, so they agree to try one more time to bring a woman into their relationship. While I do think everyone relationship had chemistry, I feel at there weren’t enough moments that weren’t sexual, explicitly or with an innuendo, to convince me that they all fell in love (each man with Lilly and Lily with each man). The three men were already in a long term relationship with each other and their understanding of each other, connection, passion, intensity, and love was already secure. The men’s feelings for Lily and her feelings toward them seemed to be mostly based in lust.

Lily’s, the FMC, height was constantly brought up through the usage of the nickname “shorty”; with the FMC being five foot five and the three MMCs being over six feet, the nickname being a reminder of the height differences has a weird vibe. There were a few word choices that referenced the height differences as well which resulted in brief pauses. Those word choices definitely could’ve been replaced with appropriate synonyms.

One of the MMCs, Zeke, was written in a slightly secretive way that alluded to him having darker sexual preferences than the two other male leads. The women the three men attempted to bring into their relationship almost never lasted the three month trial period, sometimes they left after a sexual experience with Zeke, which left him feeling guilty to his partners. But these characteristics lead the reader to believe that Zeke’s preferences or kinks were dark, dangerous, or more intense than some people could handle. The upcoming spoiler tag is also a little graphic, be warned.
When Zeke and Lily have sex for the first time, it’s a one on one scenario and he warns her that she pushed him and asked for him to show her his true self. And they ended up have sex while she was on her period; he told her to take her tampon out herself or he’d remove it with his teeth and then they had sex. The scene was definitely rough sex and Zeke also went down on Lily. Afterwards he followed up with aftercare. For that to be a way to show Zeke’s apparent blood kink, there should’ve been more thought put into the scene
. I felt as those this scene and others involving Zeke didn’t show him the way he was alluded to be like. He referred to himself as a monster to Lily, but he didn’t really display any monstrous tendencies or any drastic behaviors that would align with the darker persona he was supposed to have. Zeke growling or getting a little possessive isn’t enough to sell me; if anything when he
had sex with West, who is also a top, and afterwards asked Lily if she “enjoyed the show,” that was more believable to this dark persona that he was supposed to have. West only lets Zeke have penetrative sex with him and for Zeke to “take advantage” of West’s trust and vulnerability to “put on a show” for Lily, makes him having darker sexual preferences more believable
.

WXYX is the perfect fit.
I blushed, I laughed, i was in awe and I was pissed.
Lily is a fierce strong FMC. And she has a lot of secrets of her own.
West the boss/the caretaker, Xander the lover and Zeke the enforcer are a perfect balance of needs and pleasure.
I loved that it was a LGBTQA+ relationship.
Sadie does know her job when it comes to spice.

Let me start by saying this is not the book for you if you don't like spicy books!    This book was so spicy.... and I freaking loved it!

Lily has a secret... well, a few, actually!   One is she's dating, not one but three men!

Lily, Xander, Zeke, and West were scorching through this book!   This is a character driven story with some plot mixed it.

It was absolutely perfect for the mood I was in!

It was good and I enjoyed it. The things that make it seem unsavory for most didn't seems as bad as they could have been. I will say that one scene did make me happy to wear a dive cup. Don't play with a ladies tampon string . Come on.

What a wild ride! My first foray into MMMF and man was it intense. There’s for sure some trigger warnings, so check those out in case.

Dark romance isn’t my usual cup of tea but this was done very well. I love a why chose with sword crossing, and honestly, this read as an omegaverse pack because of how strong the MMC’s relationships with each other are. They met as orphaned teenagers and stuck together to build a successful business. The two tops read as alphas (especially Zeke, who’s into biting and blood play and marking his partners as his), the bottom reads as beta, and of course the FMC reads as a strong-willed omega who the rest of the pack yearns to pamper.

Overall I really liked this, but I hate the miscommunication trope a lot. However, this plot line was done well and didn’t just feel thrown in for the sake of having a third act breakup and giving the MMCs a reason to grovel. I do wish it wasn’t as abrupt when the FMC agreed to take them back, however.
