I did the audio for this one and loved the narrators that were chosen. I really enjoyed the premise of this book. It only loses a star because it was a bit too dramatic and took too long for the couple to get together then the book was over.

Overall, yeah this was a good story.
Christian’s life was as far from perfect..he and his mom were poor and didn’t fit it in. His mom worked for a rich family and she didn’t really pay any attention to her own son. That’s how he met Arya, the daughter of the rich family his mom worked for. As children, they spent a lot of time together, in secret.
Arya, although she grew up with everything money, she still felt alone. Her mother didn’t have anything to do with her. The housekeepers son was a loner and that’s how he and Arya were drawn to each other. Both lonely.
It’s difficult to write any details about the future as there would be a lot of spoilers. Your heart will bleed for Christian. Poor kid! The book tended to drag a bit in the middle and Arya got to be a bit much. The proof is staring at you! But overall, a good storyline.

I loved the sinners of saint series and the All saints serie.
I don’t know if it’s because I read those two serie years ago, and now my type of lecture changed, or maybe it’s just this author.
With L.J. Shen it’s either you have a good time reading her books or you want to die from boredom.
