Must love fashion by Deborah Garland is the first book in her Darling Cove series. This is the first book I have read by this author and it was a very enjoyable read.
Andrew - the brand manager of the company he works for - doesn’t understand why he needs a PR representative. So needless to say he isn’t happy when he is told he is getting one anyway.
Gwen knows she has to make an impact if you wants to succeed. Especially since Andrew is dead set against needing her around.
What neither of them anticipated however was the instant attraction between them. Forced together for one reason maybe they can find a different reason to stay together.
I really enjoyed these characters together, they just worked so well. The whole story was just believable and made it so easy for you to become engaged with. The writing was the exact style I like and helped to create the overall package. A very good book and a new author to explore!

DNF at 55%. Very cringe and was taking me so long to get through.
Must Love Fashion by Deborah Garland is a fantastic 5-star read. This book totally drew me in and captivated me.
I love that this book was centered around the fashion world because you don’t see much of that. This brought in a different and fun element to me. All the characters were very well written and the book drew me in, once I started reading I couldn’t stop.
Gwen gets on my nerves somewhat because she is always questioning why Andrew wants to be with her. I mean I understand if she may have some love self-esteem but sometimes enough is enough. Andrew on the other hand is such a great guy. I love that he always reassures Gwen that she is beautiful and wants to do right by her. Some parts tear me up when they have to deal with the loss of Andrew’s wife but it makes for a juicier book.
The secondary characters were also great contributors to the book’s story. I really hope there is another book about Gwen’s brother’s life because I see some drama there. Overall it is a fantastic read and I would recommend to any romance lover.

Must Love Fashion- Deborah Garland
5-star review
Must Love Fashion by Deborah Garland is an amazing debut novel! I can’t wait to follow this series and read more of Deborah’s work in the future. This book is glamorous, funny, romantic, quirky and surprisingly emotional. This book was such an easy read, the storyline flowed so seamlessly, and the characters were relatable and very easy to connect with. This book had so much detail and the storyline was really well written which made it possible to connect emotionally with these characters which really added to my reading experience.
I absolutely loved Gwen from the beginning, she was honest, caring, hardworking and so funny. She added the perfect amount of humour to the story. She was the perfect match to Andrew, as he was serious and dominant, their story felt so real that I couldn’t help but love them. I would definitely love to read more of them in the future.
This is definitely a romance read that I would recommend to others.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me a copy of this in exchange for an honest review but, if I am being truly honest as the agreement states, this book just wasn't good. The characters were cliché, the romance was meh, the conflicts were ridiculous and the entire description of the fashion industry showed that the author had no clue what she was talking about. When I think of fashion-romance, I want something glamorous and sexy and scandalous - exclusive VIP parties, underage models and cocaine. A little look-see into the industry as it were because, until I am able to afford a nose job (or grunge comes back into fashion), it is one in which I will never gain access to. Simply, I want a version of The Devil Wears Prada in which Andie ends up with the writer instead of her douchey boyfriend (his birthday, really?). Is that too much to ask?

Reading this book will make you feel different emotions. It’s a roller coaster of emotions. Each character has their own past experiences that makes them vulnerable. It’s a second chance romance, both characters are looking for another chance in love in a different kind of way of feelings, having that whirlwind romance or love at first sight time of thing
Wait for Me
Forever Mine, Book 1
By: Deborah Garland
Narrated by: Auri Alden, Stephen Borne
Get ready for a wealth of emotions in this first book in the Forever Mine series. I went in blind and was not prepared for parts! Gwen and Andrew had a no name, one night stand a year ago, only to find themselves working together a year later. Now coming together, they are dealing with a whole new set of emotions. Insecurities aside, these two have a natural chemistry and easy banter that is both funny and charming. What I love about this book is the sequence of events, and how each of the characters deals with life changing decisions. They compliment each other and give each other the unconditional love needed. It's both an easy listen and a not so easy listen, making it a book that made me think and feel. The best kind of story. Now looking forward to the next in the series.
Auri Alden and Stephen Borne are our storytellers, and they are both fabulous. Alden is the emotionally driven Gwen, and I could feel her both open up and close into herself, just as I imagine. There were some volume issues with hers, so I did have to up the volume on her inner monologues. Borne is great as Andrew. He too gives an array of feelings, as he deals with his past and falls into his future. They make a fantastic team and an enjoyable listen.

Second Chances
Gwendolyn "Gwen" Mallory (Foley) and Andrew Michael Morgan have a cute and steamy story that I really liked. I love that their one-night stand was out of character for who they were at that time in their lives, and how they each reacted to being thrown together again kept things entertaining.
The audio doesn't include the extended prologue / prequel, so if you have the book, be sure to read it. It's only a few short, steamy chapters, but they are highly recommended and worth reading.
While Enrico, Gwen and Andrew's boss, is a bit of a romantic, he does seem to miss some cues around the office. LOL!
There was one subject that was left unanswered. More than one really, but I suspect the others will be answered in future series books, as this contained the setup for the next two. The one I'm referring to is related to Gwen's ex, Dan. What did happen? Why did he walk away? Why was he so eager for a quick divorce after letting so much time pass?
I received an author's copy of the audio book to accompany my ebook. The narrators are Auri Alden and Stephen Borne. I loved both and their Italian accents when they were appropriate. They really would've been better with duet narration, though.
