Part history, part first-hand journalism, all informative. So much more to how we get our food than I had previously known.

Guy was on a high horse, and the prose wasn’t great. But, still pretty interesting and somewhat thought provoking

Popsugar 2022: 25) A book about a secret

This book was so depressing because it tells all about all the problems with the American food system, and offers no solutions at all. To be clear, it is not the author's job to offer solutions, and there maybe aren't any solutions to the problems that aren't going to cause new, possibly worse problems. It's just depressing. And now I feel bad for liking shrimp.

Very interesting read about the food you eat everyday and where it comes from. So, what does one eat?
