Much like Rune’s other series, this book follows Psalm who is an independent badass navigating the forsaken oracle academy. Not only is she trying to navigate school and budding relationships but there is also the mystery of who spectre is.
I enjoyed this book so much because not only is there a good balance of spice and plot but I loved the complete flip of religious themes, especially the guys who I imagine as hot priest.

I feel like this could have used more editing. The story is interesting, but some of the character dynamics feel off. Some of the interactions the main character has don't even sound like a person talking. I am fully investing in this world though. The world-building is interesting and the balance of magical creatures and magic humans can perform within the magic system is incredibly compelling.
