I really wanted to like this because the premise is so fun. But I think I just don't like comic books. There's a lot going on and it's very disjointed, and I am so tired of reading stories set during WWII.

Way more entertaining and better done than I first thought it was going to be. Probably the best book I've read by Bennett (so far). Bunny Constantine may be my favorite thing ever.

Yes, I gave it 5 stars. Yes, I couldn't believe it was good either until Alex Brown at Tor.com recommended it. I thought it was typical DC sexist tripe, but instead, it's written and drawn by women and is a powerful comic that re-imagines women of the DCU in WWII who have to find ways to use their power, whether super- or brain-, in a sexist world in which the men are all at war. I'm serious. This is not just better than it should be, it's GOOD and one of the too few comics that DC is doing right.

This was fun! The outfits were gimmicky, but not sexualizing! Which was refreshing! I also super like everyone's reinterpretations. Especially Mara's and Kate's. I heart them so much.
Oh man and can we get a shoutout for original Amanda Waller? You GO Amanda Waller! My favourite grey area DC lady <3

Sets up a LOT of plots that are not coming to fruition yet, the art is lovely, I am very curious about where everything is going, I all but clapped with delight whenever we met a new character.

To be honest, I was not too thrilled with this series and had to force myself to read it. There are waaaay too many storylines going on up in here

This was more of an introduction start of the series (hence the three stars) -- but very intriguing so far. I like the "origin stories", or rather, how they got into the organization, and I'm looking forward to volume 2!
