Anti-climactic ending and very basic writing. It didn't captivate my attention.

It is so hard to find words to describe this story. I enjoyed every heart-pounding minute of it, and every shiver it sent down my spine. I'm writing this review at 2 a.m., and I don't know how much sleep I'll get tonight

Adored the Thickety series as a kid, and now I wish I had read this one as well. Picked it up while babysitting and couldn’t put it down. I haven’t felt this inspired to write in a good while

I've been reading Middle Grade books for the last one week, and I'm happy to report that the authors in this category are not playing around. I have currently finished three out of the four books that I got and I was impressed by each one of them.

Take this one for instance. It was so fun to read, a bit spooky, and so well written I could not put it down. I don't know if middle grade books have always been like this or this is a new occurrence but I think this is one genre I will be reading more from in the future
