I should have read this sooner. I can not believe the pay off this book has. The entire plot is bananas, but it really delivers on the enemies to lovers set up.

For me the set up around the enemies made sense and really worked with how everything played out. I loved seeing them mess with each other and slowly fall in love via the pranks.

Estaba convencida de que no me iba a gustar este libro cuando lo empecé. Jane me caía mal. Cal me caía peor.

It had everything to be an awesome book but it just wasn't.

The premise of this book reminded me of the Heart song, _All I Want To Do Is Make Love To You_, in that a woman selfishly used a man to her own ends. As you than tell from my rating, I thoroughly enjoyed the book which had me laughing out loud plenty. Intelligent heroine except for her fatal flaw. Dynamic relationship between her and her romantic interest. I liked the corollary exploration of Cal's parent's marriage and shift in the power dynamic in that relationship.

This is the first book that I've read by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and definitely won't be the last. It's part of a series but read fine to me as a standalone.

Felt like a typical old school romance. Brilliant woman wants baby and tricks football player into sleeping with her so she can get pregnant. He is also very intelligent, figures it out and forces her to marry him so the baby is legitimate. Didn't really enjoy it because I didn't like her lies and trickery. Just because she thought the football player was dumb she didn't feel that bad about getting pregnant by him and never telling.

So far my least favorite book I've read by the author. The main premise just didn't appeal to me.

Loved it. I love the strong women in this series and can't wait to read the next one.

Surprisingly disappointed by this book considering I enjoyed book 1 so much.
I didn't feel the connection between Cal or Jane at all. I'm sorry to say but Cal felt like a big clumsy Gorilla to me, and Jane didn't have enough balls to stand up for herself.

But I still respect Phillips for her amazing writing. I'll definitely give her books another try.
