I really, really liked this book. It was suspenseful without being too out-there. I would have liked to see a little more development between Kayla and Lucas. I also think there could have been more information given on the dark guardians and shifter, maybe it will be explored more in the upcoming books? I definitely recommend this book!
This is. A. Simple. Story with. No. Complicated. Plots. And. No. Complicated. Love. Triangles. Kayla. Is. Spending. The summer. At. Camp. Being. A guide. There. Is. A secret. To. Her. Parents death. And. This. Summer. She. Learns. The. Truth. This. Is. YA. And. Nice. To. Read. A. Simple. Story. About. Paranormal and. Not. Have. To. Think. About. What. Is. Going. To happen.
I felt for Kayla because she was bombarded with all this stuff. Yet she took it in stride. She is so tough with loosing people important then returning to the place. I love Lucas he is so confident, strong, and yet caring and absolutley in love. I like that those feelings get explained instead of just having them declare their mate and leaving it at that.
I actually enjoyed how this book was written, and stayed up all nite one nite to finish it. :)
This Book Was An Absolute Delicious Quick Read. The Characters Are Highly Intriguing. The Writing Is Easy Which Makes This Book All The More Faster To Read. Lucas Is Adorable. Kayla Is Cute. And This Book Just Gushes Mystery And Suspense. I Highly Recommend This Book To Fans Of Werewolf/Shifter Stories.
I picked Moonlight up on a whim from the library, just looking for something different to read. It was a light, fluffy read. A little action, a little suspense, a lot of romance.
The characters were great, I would love for them to be a bit more in depth, more stories on each character. Kayla did bother me a little bit with her indecisiveness, but I guess that's to be expected from a 17 year old. Lucas was awesome. :)
I'm looking forward to starting the next book in the series tomorrow.
