DNF.

It's been a while since I've read a book that's made me feel and think so much. It's so refreshing to read about love that isn't romantic and how love between friends is just as special as any other type of love.
An eye-opening read

If it was not for the stuffy, kinda awkward writing and the fact that I'm not the biggest fan of contemporary books, this would've been a five stars for me. It checks all my other boxes, queer found family, strong character development and what I found to be a pretty accurate representation of asexuality and aromanticism (I'm not aromantic, but I am ace and many of Georgia's thoughts and lines are things I have said in real life.). The relationships between the characters were beautifully written and I thought the ending very much fitted Georgia.

Ace and aro relationships are so underrepresented and I appreciated the perspective of this book a lot. There is so much nuance when it comes to sexuality and I feel like Loveless does it justice.

I think it shines a light on the importance of friendships and how, even in a society where romance overshadows just about everything, they can be the most rewarding and important relationship you have.
