Hm. I don’t know about this one. The writing style was a little strange to me. Scenes and locations change without warning making it hard to follow. Maybe that’s the point because of the nature of the book? (The main character traveling backwards in her own life.) But it certainly made things unclear at times where I’d have to go back a few pages to see if I missed something.

The epilogue also seemed unnecessary to me and was confusing in its own way too. I don’t know - the premise was definitely interesting and I ultimately get the story and what happened. I’m just not sure the execution was all there.

it is a british thing to repeat words three times? cause that happened so much in this book.

twist was pretty good, a few things were predictable but overall the story telling was great, and the last two pages are definitely gonna keep me thinking for a while

Wrong book. Wrong person.

That’s the best way I know to describe how I feel about this book. I generally enjoy a time travel story and can even get into jumping around in time. There was something about the way this book was written though that just didn’t flow right for me. I had to think too hard to get the time set right in my mind.

I found the “Am I a good mother?” question a little irritating in the way it would just suddenly pop up. I had a hard time figuring out what time period the Ryan chapters were set in. The book actually slowed down in sections, I figured out the big reveal early on, and some of the ending was too neat.

On the plus side, overall I felt as if I knew the characters and the writing was good enough to keep me reading.

I am in the minority and it was a home run for many.
