A very interesting book and chock full of literary curiosities. I can't say I want many of them on my shelves haha. Based on the items featured in this it seems that if it can take ink or be carved chances are a "book" has been made from it at some point in time.
Based on the kindle, only approx 70% is the book and the rest appendices etc. 5* otherwise.
I'm looking forward to reading more of the author based on what I already own.

A wonderful collection of oddest and most unusual books. Brilliantly illustrated with scans and photos of the books, this is a joy to read for bibliophiles.

This book is filled with beautiful artwork and the history behind the objects are very interesting. I gave this book 5 stars because i did really enjoy this book. And yes you can eat this book with a spoon [not really]
