Overall an Ok read. Writing style isn’t horrible. Typically with the whole “bad guy” turning soft for the girl trope gives me the ick but this one wasn’t too bad. If you can get over the fact that they’re step siblings it might not weird you out much but there was moments where i was like ew ok stop.
Very slow paced if i say so myself. The whole book is revolved around their past trauma but idkkkkk Nicks character still has me like ok? Grow up. I get your mom abandoning you is a lot but at moments it was giving little rich boy throwing a fit. Idk like i said, it wasn’t horrible but the characters are a little weird sometimes.
Also plus for not being straight porno. lol sorry but i’m over all the very graphic content booktok keeps recommending and this one included it but not in a way that it’s too graphic or on every page.

Una historia perfecta para pasar un buen rato es súper adictiva, te hace sentir muchas emociones hacia los personajes.
La historia trata de Noah una chica que se ha de mudar a casa del nuevo marido de su madre ,un abogado rico, ahí tendrá que convivir con su nuevo hermanastro. Al principio no se llevaran muy bien pero poco a poco eso irá cambiando. Tiene un final para mi gusto perfecto y ya estoy emocionada de pronto comenzar su secuela. Mercedes Ron escribe de una manera directa, que te atrapa.

Le doy cuatro estrellas porque me ha parecido increíble. Es el primero de una trilogía y la verdad es que ha conseguido engancharme desde el primer momento. Han habido momentos de tensión, momento tristes, de cabreo y claramente románticos, con los que me he derretido al instante.
No le doy más puntuación porque quiero continuar leyendo los otros dos libros y saber que pasa, pero realmente es uno de mis libros favoritos.

This is my first book by Mercedes and it will not be my last. I was definitely hooked and could not put it down. Nick and Noah are step siblings but they have both been hurt by people who should have loved them unconditionally. As they get to know each other they can’t fight their chemistry for long and idk finds himself falling for Noah. But Noah is terrified to let anyone in. Her history has traumatized her and caused her to build walls that Nick isn’t sure he can tear down. But they get to the point where neither can fight their chemistry attraction or the chemistry they have. Add on Noah being threatened and it brings them even closer. They reach a for now HEA and leave you wanting more. I enjoyed the writing and the characters hook you in and don’t let you go. I will absolutely be continuing the series.
