I had so much fun with this book! It’s super cliche and predictable but I kinda loved it. The writing is not top tier and Anna’s internal dialogue can be cringey at times. Journalist turned vampire, and it turns out many superstitions about vampires are true in this one. There was a scene in the beginning where I was like uh… is this a scene from the movie Blade? Dracula is all respectful and polite, makes me get the tingles.

This story surprised me. It was so much more than I expected. It does have a lot of humor and the romance is fun to see how it builds. At first I wasn’t sure about Anna. She does seem to fit the ditzy blond bit but she is so much more. And Dracula is one to die for (pun intended).

15% in and I still couldn’t tell you what the plot of this book is suppose to be. The POV of the main character is chaotic and not in a good way.
